On January 9, 2024 the Florida Firefighters Safety and Health Collaborative was unanimously approved to become the 10th member of the Florida Joint Council of Fire and Emergency Services. "We could not be more proud of the work the Collaborative has done with outreach programs across Florida and beyond in support of our firefighter community to earn this seat on the Council" said Chairman Rick Butcher. This is the first addition to the Joint Council in over 20 years and comes at a time where firefighter physical and mental health is at the forefront of all leadership concerns. The Collaborative has created outreach and resources for every need of all of us and we are thankful for their partnership. Welcome to the Joint Council Leadership team!
